I usually end up taking some form of fruit, which mother natural made its own packaging, and some for of junk food snack from the gas station. All the snack stuff packaging is real krinkly and loud so I have been dumping snack stuff in Ziploc bag. This works ok but the bag only seems to last a hunt or 2 and it'll get a hole or the locking mechanism messes up and it won't seal correctly. Wow me with some awesome product I had no idea even existed like u guys usually do

It doesnt work good with hot foods or anything thats super messy, but if you get a paper towel and fold it over to give some strength you can stack up multiple layers of snacks and then put them in the little space between your hat and your head.. obviously your gonna want to take everything out of the packages before tho just so you can go full stealth mode

A small drawstring cloth bag. I have a couple sizes but they range from the size of my palm to a little bigger than my hand. I fill mine with trail mix or unrap a pack of cracker and a candy bar to put in there. Super quiet opening and the cinch down tight. If they get dirty just wash it.

I have a couple small reusable silicone ziplock style bags, got em for Christmas this year bc my daughter thought is was funny that I repackaged snacks into quieter bags. They work good & weren’t expensive, I think the pair was $10

I've tried cloth bags but they suck out the oils of peanuts/cashew/etc and I forget to wash and they got yucky....

I'll look into those....the silicone is more along the lines of what I was thinking. I bought a pizza slice storage thing from goodwill that is soft silicone. I figured there was some product that would be similar. The pizza thing has a ridgid lid and isn't a good shape to pack ( pizza slice shaped triangle)

Several good ideas mentioned. I often wrap a sandwich and de-wrapped candy bar, jerky, etc. in a cloth handkerchief. The food dries out a little bit and it can make the cloth messy but I hate crinkling plastic when trying to hunt silently.

I need to get on this. I tend to really like Cliff bars while I hunt, but damn those wrappers are crazy loud. I do also run a ziplock of trail mix through most of the season which is quiet.

This isn't awesome but works...save your old bread bags and use a twist tie. Double wrap for extra protection if needed. They're quieter than most bags and made from a decently thick mil plastic.

I’d just be a giant trail mix/protein bar scent wick….. but probably am already……

Depending on what you need/want to carry, a 1-2L dry bag usually works pretty well. Pretty easy to wash, as well.
