Foot cinch aider

@swampsnyper thats money!! I like that idea and you really can just make the aider as long or short vs a commercially built one which would add to the adjustability of one’s system

How long is this?

How long is this?

It is about 3 feet. I extend it with rope to loop over the top of the stick. It has at least a foot of adjustment and is light and it can be cinched tight to the foot

If you place a hook or carabiner to your lineman belt to secure the strap after its use instead of releasing the aider and letting dangle it could eliminate wasted movements/time and smooth out the process.

Like after you've pulled your foot up and reached your next step, then instead of dropping the aider place on your hook. This would eliminate having to reach down to grab strap each time. Just unhook from your belt hook, place on the next step/stick, climb reattached to belt hook, repeat process, place on next stick/step,climb, hook to your belt and so on. Make sense...
