Is anyone using the Guido's or JX with a foot climber like the LW? Can anyone direct me to a video? Thanks.

I just started climbing this year. Bought a jx3 and love it. Hardest part was getting up in the tree as I am older and 240 lbs. (also have had 5 heart attacks so I don’t have a lot of stamina). I tried several methods with much difficulty. A friend had left his summit tree stand here and so I am now using the bottom portion of the tree stand as a foot climber off the tether. I use a grigri to climb with and then rappel down the tree. I would like to get a LWHC and try the bottom portion as it would be lighter and easier to carry. I would also try climbing with just the seat. The rappel method means I am always attached to the tree and have a way out of the tree if something happens. It is also the absolute best and easiest way to get down the tree, even in the dark.
