Are you using the fixed seat or the flip one? Ive got a stick Im willing to sacrifice to try a platform just not sure which seat guys are using.
 
Most use the lone wolf elite seat. It's a flip down. Not sure what stick your gonna sacrifice but most seats and platforms require a 1.25" post along with washers to fill the gap.
 
I have a lone wolf seat on a piece of 1" aluminum post, the same as the LW stick, with nylon spacers. No problems. 1 recommendation if you do it, use a bushing. The wall thickness of the sticks is pretty thin. Doesn't take a whole lot to distort the holes in 1/8" wall aluminum.

Same here, also got tree brackets from DanO. He sells a 9” price of 1.25 too. Like it a lot. Before his brackets I used API brackets, his are much better. And I’ve read on here about the LW “V”brackets breaking if using them on a platform.


They can’t avoid you forever
