Moving to FLW for training July-Dec, plan to hunt as often as I can. Any good places to take venison for packaging within a half hour drive?

Wont have much freezer space - if they do “share the harvest” even better. If they take a gutted, hide on deer EVEN EVEN better.

That's in my neck of the woods! I process my own game but there's a place outside of Newburg/Doolittle called Steve-n-sons that processes wild game. They do wild hogs (last time I checked) too if you get into 'em. I'm sure there are places closer to the fort but I've never checked them out.

EDIT: Well I just checked their FB and it looks like they're not doing deer anymore. It looks like they're recommending a shop out if Dixon called R-N Butchering. I've never heard of them but I know Steve-n-sons came highly recommended, so R-N is probably alright.

Zimmerman meats in Salem. One of my good friends from HS and her husband own it.

It’s about an hour away though.
