Hey all,

I am getting close to having all I need to get off the ground safely. Here is what I am left looking for. Used is fine.
1. a platform or ROS
2. A ropeman 1
3. 1-2 locking carabiners
4. Gear hanger for public
5. knee pads
6. Molle dump pouch

Have you looked into the scout that mounts to the sticks? I really like mine. Just an option pretty reasonable as well

I have, looks interesting, also was recommended the tree suit platform. Both seem reasonable for a first set up.
 
I'm still contemplating a tree suit purchase for my longer hunts. But the ease of use of the scout was just too simple to not take advantage of.

Thanks. RN the scout platform is 3 weeks for the order. Better than nothing.
 
For the money, a Silent Approach six-step ring of steps platform will get you sorted for something like $60 and it’s light. Having used both, I would strongly recommend the Trophyline platform. Nothing like being able to turn your back to the tree and stand up straight during a long sit, or turn under the tether to make your weak side your strong side when a buck walks out from that direction.
