I just bought a panasonic 570 and its pretty amazing. Even has a selfie cam u can use for POV filming simultaneously. Capture you and deer at same time while drawing and shooting. $330 with extrabatteryI probably should buy a camera first! lol but i still found myself looking at their website and trying to justify a purchase! Any recommendations on entry level camera < $500?

I havent really put it to the test but id say u could do 3hrs maybe again im not sure but i did a few random outtings on one chargeLooks like My wife picked up this camera for me from amazon for fathers day! How long would you say the battery lasts? She ordered a package but the extra battery is not included....
Exactly im excited to test it out in the woodsI like the idea that it can pair with your cell phone as well for that second angle! I like to use my iphone mounted to my bow and now it can be on the same screen as the camera angle! Or I can use the secondary camera on the camera to get my reaction
Quick little test today up about 25 feet, first time using the camera in the tree. Definitely pleasantly surprised at the quality! Not the best shooting, I'm a bit rusty gauging yardage ... closer than I thought.Exactly im excited to test it out in the woods

Not using the fourth arm but I will be making that purchase before the season, so to hijack the thread!

That's an interesting thought. I'm not sure you'll have enough reach to see around all but the smaller of trees. I'll go try it out.I had thought about trying the Rex arm they make so a super light compact setup. Not sure how well it would work tho
