I like videos too...
I have to watch and rewind and pause knot videos constantly. (I suck at tying knots)

Anyone out there use this as there mobile method on public land? Im talking no illegal p chord presets? Cant imagine tossing rope up to a limb that you hope has holding wood in the dark. Half way to being a certified arborist at this point as well

@Brocky there are now 2 sad faces on post 40 in response to it. Once that reaches 5, the masses will have spoken and you will be bound by saddlehunting law to provide restitution in the form of a video.
Thanks buddy! How much cordage do you need to execute this?Maybe this will help.

The number of wraps might be different depending on cord, rope, etc. Even up the length of the two ends of cord.

Tie the simple knot to form the bottom of the now cord ring, then bring the ends behind the rope, side view picture below.

Cross the ends and then once more to form a twist, this is the back of the hitch.

Rotate the twist upward and put the ends through ring to come out the front. If using a hitch cord with eyes, you’re all done, if using a piece of cord two more steps.

Put the ends over the top of the carabiner and then back through the carabiner and ring, so both are in the back.

Bring the ends together and tie a stopper knot on top of the twist, a single overhand shown.

48” is enough for most cords and ropes used, larger or stiffer cord will need longer.
Rope hanging in the stairwell gets me about 10’-12’ of free hanging.
A miscalculation on the amount of cover needed for a double eye splicing project, led to making a single eye instead.
