Btw, I bought a couple Gardepro (different model) from Trail Cam Pro a few months ago. I've only tested a little bit but they seem just fine. My Browning cams seemed great too...at first. By year 3 they were giving me fits. Hope these GardePro last longer than the Brownings.

I really liked my Browning's too, until they quit working. But hey, you can buy 3 of the GardePro cameras for what it costs for one Browning and I think they are better cameras to boot!

When my Brownings started torturing me, I called Browning about the issues and they said 3 years is about what you can expect from a trail cam. Whatever.... What kills me is they are $160 cameras. For that price, I expect more than 3 years.
I like the price point of these Gardepro. If they only last 3 years, it'll be a lot easier to swallow for the price.

I wonder if we treat the rubber gasket with a rubber product? I bought some Gumleaf boots last year and they strongly recommend treating them a couple times per year with Granger's rubber boot treatment to keep them from drying out and cracking. It would probably prolong the life of camera gaskets too.

My cam seems to be eating batteries. Granted its on video mode but the first set of alkaline batteries lasted 3 days. The cam is dead again after about the same time. Anyone else have this problem?

I only ran into that on my Stealth Cam's when they were at the end of their life. I'd set them up and once tripped it would "rapid fire" until the card was full or the batteries died.
What camera are you using?

Cam is this amazon cam GardePro that the thread is about, it's about a week and half old.

@Gator dont tell me that!! I ordered 6 of them and was excited to get them out in the coming months. Is this problem with just a single cam, or multiple? If single, I’d say it’s an isolated problem

It's got to be a bad one. I know mine work perfectly. He should contact them for a replacement. It would be nice to know how they treat him regarding replacement. Hopefully he'll keep us updated.

Yes reason for post was to check with all these guys that own this cam to see if it's a one off problem or if they have started experiencing battery issues as well.
