Hey guys, I have a latitude gear hanger. I was just curious what everyone else was running.

Linemans belt using a small bungee ball that I make a prussic with and run it through the loop end of the girth hitch to keep it tight to the tree. Pack hangs from caribiner of the linemans belt. Works great.

same, just use a hero clip for my bow

amsteel daisy chain with a nite ize cam jam to adjust, bow has a rigid hanger mounted to it that hangs on the daisy chain, pack has its own paracord tied to the top loop with another cam jam to adjust position of girth hitch around tree (pack and bow/gear are on separate lines)

it's easier to get everything exactly where you want this way

Genesis 3D printing gear hanger!

Tried a Tethrd Hys strap - too bulky and doesn’t pack neatly.

Tried Amsteel daisy chain - didn’t like having to untangle the knotted, balled-up mess.

Genesis hooks are quiet, super strong, and tight enough on the webbing strap that they don’t slide on their own - you have to move them intentionally. Watch the video in the listing - he hangs 80lbs off one of the 3D printed hooks on the strap and it handles it like a champ. After I tried one of these last season, my search for the best gear hanger was over. Love the updated g-hook version which is even stronger and less bulk than the original plastic quick release buckle…

Tried Amsteel daisy chain - didn’t like having to untangle the knotted, balled-up mess.

Attach a piece of elastic cord to the cam jam (I girth hitch a loop of it to the solid part of the cam jam) and before going out in the field wrap the daisy chain up in a non-tangling way and then affix to the cam jam using the elastic....used this system for 2 years and never once took me more than a few seconds to deploy.

If someone isn't using the cam jam, then you can still organize the chain similarly. I have one like that (using a ranger band though) in my cargo pocket for self-rescue.

I should clarify that with my daisy chains I run it through the eye and then yank it back onto itself, exactly like I with with my sticks pre timber hitch. A small carabiner on the end clips into the proper eye. This gets it and keeps it tight enough to hold my stuff without sag

The hooks are metal, rubber coated for no noise.
With the rigid metal hooks it is easier to remove equipment from the hook.
Wraps up into a small bundle.

I made two for about $12 with a 1/2" x 1/8" x 4' aluminum bar from tractor supply and stuff I had laying around. I got the idea on here. Someone shared this video on how to make the hooks. It was a fun project. The green one is made with the cinch strap from a summit climber. The brown one is made with leftover webbing from another project and an adjustable quick release buckle.

The pics are on a very small tree so it makes the hangers look much larger than they are. You can make the hooks whatever size you want.:

Yep. It works perfect and eliminates another item you have to bring into the woods.

Length of paracord girth hitched to tree with a hero clip on a tiny prussik so i can slide it up and down to my liking on where i want my bow to sit.

Have yet to see a better way to do it.

Same here. Ended up leaving this one in a tree in a hurry to beat a storm, made another with loops tied closer together and it works great. Weight of the pack keeps it cinched tight on the tree, just move biners where needed.
