Have been planning in kiwis

I’m just trying to hold out for the fairy tale “Group buy” to get them for a great price but want them for this next season so may have to cough up the big bucks and pay retail

I've been using klein steels with Cadillac pads but they got awful heavy by the end of season. I'm debating on some carbons bc I do like using spurs...as evident by me selling my sticks and stepps. My preference on non-preset trees is spike up and rappel down. Now I've got to decide if itll be worth the $ to upgrade.
 
I bought Ihold's aluminum climb rights...he did a heck of a job on the modification...I just climbed with them for the first time yesterday...they were awesome...the learning curve seems easier than i thought it might be...note that I didnt get over 6 feet off the ground being my first day...lol...anyways I am very happy with these at half the cost or less...like I said these were modded beautifully!

Do they have buckles or rope straps?

Understand, I’ve had aluminum ClimbRights and Kiwis. The Kiwis were so nice but with my calves I could barely buckle the straps- now I’m thinking about the Geckos. I like to climb with spurs when I can, have been one sticking and am happy with it, but want some options at other times and I miss the freedom of my spurs

*For anyone looking at the new KK hunter model*
Contact Dale I was having the same problem and told him to make me a buckle strap about 10in longer and they are great. That was one of our complaints as well, once you get cold weather gear didn't have enough strap.
