Getting spray paint smell off sticks?

Did a camo paint job on my Heliums and the smell of spray paint can be wiffed from 15yds away.

Anyone have any tricks or hacks to expedite the scent control other than leaving them outdoors for 2 to 14 weeks?

Coat them with baking soda and leave outside in the sun for a few days. They will be usable at that point and residual smell will not matter and die down over more time.

I painted mine like a week before hunting season and haven’t really noticed anything honestly. I’ve had a 130-140 inch buck walk under me at 15 yard and killed 2 does now. I was worried at first and tried drowning mine in the creek mud and spraying with scent away. But after a couple hunts I couldn’t even notice it any more. Good luck!

I had a dog take a direct shot from a skunk. What worked was baking soda, peroxide, and Dawn dish soap. It may work for this task as well.
