I've used QAD and and an older G5. What's the new go to? Cable driven, limb driven? Hamskea, rip cord, vapor trail? Not worried about price....yet. Some of them look ridiculously expensive for what they are.

I've only ever owned a QAD before, but when I got my hamskea limb driven, it took no time at all to tune. Easy to set up, seems to be a well built rest. Had mine two years, but I don't shoot my compound a ton now.

I use a QAD and prefer a cable driven on my hunting bow. Never had an issue tuning it. Main reason is being able to cock it and have full arrow containment.

I run a limb driven on my target bow.

Any reason other than the capture feature of a cocked rest?

I feel like my QAD HDX is quieter than the limb driver V I tried before. But it's mainly the ability to cock it up in a ready position.

I think ripcord has a limb driven rest that can be cocked, the LOK I think, but I haven't looked much into it.

Hamskea, AAE or QAD are all good choices. The QAD may have some set up advantages but all three are very good with slight differences. You need to pick through and decide what feature set is to your preference.

Hamskea Epsilon, Everest or Primer all limb driven or the Limbdriver series from Vaportrail. Can’t go wrong with either.

I been using string driven Ripcords on my bows since '16 or so, had one that malfunctioned and they replaced without question, other than that they perform as expected. I really don't understand why no one designs and manufacturers the "quietest hunting rest available", despite my efforts the rest is still by far the loudest part of my shot process.

Thanks all. Would've pulled the trigger on a Hamskea I found, but had already ordered a QAD. Should be here tomorrow.

I upgraded bows last season and switched from my usual QAD to the Vaper trail Gen7X limb driven and love it.

x2 on the Hamskea, the first drop away rest I gave an honest effort to, because it was so simple it wasnt an effort
