im a loc on fan but never heard anything good about the black magic. Here it pops a lot but if u wanted a shell for a cool diy stand. I’d prob buy it, cut the platform for replace it with 6160 tubing and make it a single post stand. But hey that’s just me

Its actually black lighting. they're not bad. Redoe some of the tack welds and it will quiet it down. For $10 you cant go wrong. the spirit is a great stand.

Take the lightning set it up one the ground and then stomp the piss out of the platform.No joke.It will kind of press down the high spots in the floor and stop most of the popping.Been there Done that.Dont want any more lightnings.But the Spirits were great stands.
