@Nutterbuster dont forget the baby bidet on the kitchen sink.
So far I've only had one true blowout and the culprit who didn't tighten the diaper properly (not naming names) was promptly notified of the problem.
We do run on about a 3 hour cycle right now. Feed, burp, change, play for a minute, then coma-nap. Rinse and repeat.
Really, she's shockingly easy. It helps that we split the load. She's got 12 or 16 weeks of leave and I'm remote.
The best thing ever was a magnet the hospital gave us to put on the fridge. It said something along the lines of “Your baby can’t talk so it cries to communicate” If your baby is crying, it’s probably because of these five things: 1. It’s hot, 2. it’s cold,3. it’s hungry, 4. it’s tired, 5. It needs a change. At first I scoffed at the stupid magnet….. several 2-3am crying jags later made that thing a goldmine to me in those days!!!
The band on my Samsung is silicone and thus far has been pretty resilient. An outfit called Chums - mostly makes sunglasses lanyards and beach accessories - has a product called "the band" which is a simple velcro watchband. I went through 2 or 3 in probably 8 years, which I felt was pretty good. Very easy to adjust, and the nylon is pretty durable. This probably old news to most of u but I lay it out there for ya anyway.....I went offshore couple days in a row and forgot to clean my watch band so it was ruined by the salt. I started looking for a replacement and now they got silicone rubber watch bands for cheap. I've worn 1 of those type rings for years now and I still in disbelieve that it hasn't broken or melted....hopefully this watch band it just as tough. I'm not sure the brand really matters... It's all china junk. I just bought the 1 with the quickest shipping..... The silicone band itself is pretty sweet with higher grade stainless hardware for 20ish dollars
