Good info from the National Deer Association

I just read it and my thoughts are this. None of the data collected means anything unless every one of those deer were standing in the exact same position and hit in the exact same spot. If 40% of the deer shot with mechanicals were hit in the shoulder then the results would have been very different.
 
Like any scientific analysis - it's a data point until the results are independently repeated.
It definitely contrasts with results I've seen from hunting partners.
