So this morning i finally got to sit in my saddle for the first time :mrgreen: !!! I am very happy with my first sit i was able to sit for almost 4 hours without any discomfort and i couldve kept going if i had the time.

The morning was uneventful only a few squirrels and some curious bluejays. Ill be headed out again this afternoon but i figured id share some morning pics!





 
Welp Death from above! Looks like the good luck worked tonight! Shot a beautiful doe, she was very skiddish and dropped the shot and i spined her and had to take a follow up shot but its the first deer ive shot with a bow in 8 years :)



I will say today was the first time using milkweed and let me tell you i will forever carry that from now on. I had a swirling wind blowing right at her and with the milkweed i knew she didnt smell me because there was a current 10 yds out that took my scent away from her!

Im definately hooked on saddle hunting i could have never stayed hidden with a conventional stand. I cant wait to get back out and go for my buck tag!
