Hello from Vermont....where we’re patiently waiting for the first Saturday in October to hang out with a bow and a string and chase deer.

I’ve looked at saddle hunting for years after watching a vhs hunting video of a Pennsylvania hunter who rode a mtn bike in to the woods and used a tree saddle.

This season though will be my first with a saddle. I have a new farm and a big change at my camp after two years of forestry plan logging.

The idea is to scout and hunt sign when i find it and to leave minimal sign to the two legged competition on properties that I share. I am looking forward to it.

I am still looking for a rch that will fit a large framed hunter with cool weather gear. I plan to use one with the sit drag mod seat this season.

I also need to dig around the threads for the platform option I’ll use.

It’s getting hard to sleep. I saw a tall tined buck that made it through. I chased him the last couple days of our late season last year and he’s bigger this year. Can’t wait.

Good luck everybody and thanks in advance for all the info on the site.
