What's your go to and why I have illusion, knight an hale ez grunter,haydells inhale and hunters specialties true talker og ,I loved the true talker I could just breathe in it and get low grunts or exhale and get loud but my reed warped and I got to send it back ,it also makes a killer estrous bleat which leads me to ask what's your favorite

Woodhaven intimidator, it has worked 2 hunts in a row. I like the deep gutteral grunts you can get by stretching out the tube and so do the bucks.

Modified Ridge Runner. It only grunts and the reed never sticks. It's helped me kill a bunch of bucks.

I've used an extinguisher without much luck. Before that I had a Primos buck roar that seemed to bring em in pretty good. Will probably go back to it. I've also had good luck with the snort wheeze on top.

i like my true talker for most every use. i also have a flextone buck collector plus grunt. it has the nasal grunt that sounds more like a deer but i only grab it when there is a buck that means business and looking for a fight. but i hunt GA and most buck around here dont have deep voices.

Grunt tube is the most effective luxury item we have available imo.

I'm a novice. I have an extinguisher, sounds real to me. It nearly gained me success 2 weeks ago on a 5 year old. He turned away from his doe and was coming to kick my but when a 2yr old dipstick went after his doe , I lost him.

I use my throat and do a gurgling sound and will even hiss with my mouth. Just practice and you’ll never need a tube again. I found I can do more gentle realistic grunts with mouth. Only difference is I can’t get as loud as a tube but never had to scream across the woods since loud grunts aren’t natural - at least I never heard a buck grunt more than 50 yards from me.

I have an extinguisher and love the fawn and doe bleats on it but think the grunt sounds terrible. I use the wood haven stinger and turned a nice buck around quick last weekend with it. It sounds great especially when stretched out a bit. My 2 cents.

More of what never let's you down and never sounds like a duck ,I have had 3 illusions they all froze I had to keep them in my coat taking them apart to clean made me loose the bottom pieces in the woods ,I had a rut roar it froze up bad was a pain to adjust which is why I have an inhale which is a nice call I just cant get good tending vocals with it ,that's why I loved the tru talker og it was smooth atleast until the reed warped I have several other calls the hyperventilator is ok but it just dont hit the sweet spots

Hooks Messenger grunt call is what I almost always carry...I like the sound of the Woodhaven grunt call to can't remember what model it is.
