So could I tie a runner with water knots using tubular webbing for a bridge on my guido and eliminate the biners? The problem I am thinking of (that might not actually be one...) is swinging the bridge back around for storage underneath the seat....thoughts?

Its a pain to get on if you dont have a biner on one end.

When I get around to it, I'm going to make a rope bridge with an eye splice on the web loop and a biner on the other end. I have some army surplus canteen pouches I strapped to the side of the web that I just stuff the rope into when not in use. That way it's right at my side when needed and I only need to clip onto one side.
