H2 saddle

Have it. Tried Ambush lite for a bit. Used a sit drag for one season. I’m no longer searching for a saddle.

I have an H2. My first and only saddle so far. I like it a lot. Has features of both the Tethrd and Kestrel saddles I liked that made me go with it. I’ve sat in it a number of times this season so far. Very comfortable with no hip pinch or any other issues to speak of for me. It’s a good price compared to the other popular brands out there and you don’t have to wait long for it. I waited maybe 10 days or so for it to come in. Not planning on switching to any other saddles unless something happens to this one and I don’t see that happening. Very well built.

^^X2. H2 is my first and only and have been super comfortable in it this year! 34 waist I got the Med w/ leg loops with no issues having extra layers on for the bitter cold we've gotten in MA.

I have the same size and have the leg loops. Super comfortable. I think the leg loops are a necessity too IMO. Have not tried the extra layers for warmth yet. Don’t see that being a problem though.

I just got mine and it is super comfortable, got it in about week from time of order. I have the small 28-34. Paired it with some Dan-O Predator fleece pouches. My previous saddle was a Trophyline Pro that I couldn't stand to sit or lean in. For me, this saddle is awesome and my only changes would be an adjustable waist belt on both sides of the buckle and a little stiffer Lineman loops.

I took some weed eater string and rolled the edge of the lineman's loop and stuck the string in there. It holds the loop open perfectly. I only ever worry about one side cause my LB is girth hitched to the other.

I added a rope bridge to my H2 using the rope from a muddy safeline coupled with some 5.5mm beal cord tied in a schwebash and a J-cline tender. Super happy with the H2.

No real complaints with mine. The waist belt is kind of hard to adjust. But once it's set it doesn't budge. It's my first and only saddle.

So what everyone that has tried one is saying it’s awesome right? Anyone out there try it and go with something else?

Jaybo just mentioned they are working on a mesh virsion. I might have to hold out for that!

I did forget about the waist belt. It is hard to adjust I guess. At the same time I don’t mind that because you know it’s not moving on you unless you make it.

Any opinions on the leg straps? Like em? don't like em? Make much difference? Worth $15 for the piece of mind?

like them.
don't know if they make a difference because i have them.
I would imagine it holds the saddle in place while walking more than without.
it's $15. you can cut them off if you don't like them.

Touche', if I don't like them I'll just cut em off and have a couple sweet buckles for a DIY project.

I second the legs straps for piece of mind. I don’t see why people think they’re in the way or inconvenient. I’ve not run into a situation yet where they were in the way of anything. I think they’re definitely worth the little extra cost.
