H2 unboxing/first impression

Thanks for the unpacking video. The H2 is differently on my list of possible new saddle for 2020. Getting a demo of the Phantom during SaddlePalooza2020 in FEB, so I am holding off until then to make my final decision.

Thanks again my friend. Now get out there and test that bad boy.

The buckle is probably the biggest complaint on my H2. But it doesn't budge once you have it in place. Also shoving some zip ties in the lineman's loops helps stiffen them. Otherwise it's a great product.

i have my lineman girth hitched onto my lineman loops, and i 1stick up and dont need a lineman all the time. so i guess the stiffness of the loops isnt a huge thing for me. I like the buckle, on my mantis i kept having to re-tighten up the belt because it would loosen up

i have not tried the phantom, but i honestly couldnt imagine a more comfortable saddle than this h2,well worth it

I like mine so far but only sits in the yard and practice with the bow about two feet off the ground with my new ridge runner so I can go get my arrows without it much work. 6’3”/235

I did some 1sticking and rappelling with it today, worked out great. Very comfortable. I didnt even use the leg straps and didn't feel like it was riding up at all

Hey Jay. Are you using your rappel rope as your tether. What length rope are you using. I one stick also and hate the decent. Was considering the rappel method

Yes I'm using my rappel rope as my tether, and I'm using 25ft of the 9mm htp from DanO. I hated the 1 stick descent as well, but rappelling is the way to go for me anyway, I can be down a tree in a matter of 10 seconds on a nice slow and quiet descent.

I have enjoyed mine this year(35-40 sits). I got the first GEN back in September. The only improvement i made was put a zip tie in the lineman's loop. I did make a amsteel adjustable bridge on it a couple weeks ago. Still need to try it out.
