Hailing from Virginia

It's pretty thick around here, and I also wonder if I can maintain shooting form with a trad bow if I'm too high. Maybe the ability to lean and twist will help with that. There's a few spots on the property where 20' would be doable, but the most sign is in the thick stuff and the field edges. I'm thinking presets in the treeline along the cornfield and several more in the thick stuff so I can play the wind better than I have been. Thanks to all for your input!

Welcome from Missouri! Like most have said. Let the cover dictate your height. If hunted from 6-8 ft to 25. Depends on backdrop and time of year. There is no MAGICAL height!
