Do you guys generally take your quivers off when you hang your bow? I have found being right handed and hanging my bow on the left side of the tree that my quiver makes my bow hang weird and makes it a little tough to un hook sometimes. I am a fan of keeping my quiver on.

Didn't know if anyone has different hook solutions. Right now I have a 3'' J hook hanging from a strap.

Same here....I started removing my quiver after 25 years of bow hunting. Not sure why except a guy basically said I was an idiot for shooting with it attached. I used a long bow hanger. It's just another hook to place now.

I always remove my quiver also. I don't like shooting my bow with the extra bulk. Don't hang well and it's just more mass and color to be moving around in the moment of truth.

I hang my bow from the Mathews quiver mount, and my quiver from the opposite side of the tree

Sometimes I have a tree where the quiver doesn’t interfere, but usually I have to take it off and hang it on my backpack.

I remove my quiver when hanging in a tree. Just don't like the extra bulk when maneuvering around the tree and stand.

If you hunt with the quiver on practice with the quiver on, loaded as it is when you hunt. If your accurate great, leave it on. If not, take it off. I made a bow holder from a 5 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch l bracket. I drilled holes either side at the top of the short leg. I drilled two more an inch down. I put para cord through to form an x on the outside of the bracket. I used the x to run 1" webbing through. Size to your largest tree. I put a 1 inch buckle on each end. The whole thing together weighs 5 ounces. I have 7 feet of webbing. I tested it with 40 pounds. I turned the horizontal end up with vice grip so weapon can't slide off. About 1/4 inch lip. It turned the bottom end of the lower leg in to have a point pressing against the bark. About 1/8". Hope that helps. God bless.

I have always removed my quiver in the tree. I keep a key chain carabiner on the right side of my hang strap that I can attach a loop of paracord tied around my quiver and hang it there.

I have left it on and took it off depending on how I was set up. However from now own it will be off. A couple of weeks ago it cost me a shot at a true 12 pt. Had to swing over the top, to my right (it was hanging on the left) to get into shooting position and I ended up touching the arrows to the tree with a small tink sound. Game over he just slowly turned and left (25 yards). Quiver hanging off my strap from now own.

I’ve been about 50/50 over the years but now hunt quiver on (1) bc an Xpedition Xcentric is so dang light I need something to calm it down and (2) bc if I see a deer while hiking I am already in my shooting config with quiver on and (3) because tight spots are tighter to the bow then I ever thought a quiver could be. I run a fairly long maybe 5-6” hardware hanger on paracord tightened with a nite eyes cam, works fine.

I practice with it off so take it off in the tree. Only time I practice and shoot with a full quiver is getting ready for spot and stock speed goats. I run a different bow altogether for that though.

Yeah I always practice with my quiver and 4 arrows in it bc I hunt with it that way. I shoot well with it on and I feel I can reload fast grabbing an arrow off of my quiver attached to bow. Its just me.

Anyhow, do you have a pic of the mount you made ?

Last night I was screwing around with gear tie and and made a loop hanging off of my quiver to hang my bow from. I think this may work out for me to just hang it from that to my hook.

I have a piece of 1" strapping and half a plastic buckle sewn on my quiver and the other half, again with 1" strapping, sewn on my backpack. Once in the tree I remove the quiver and snap it onto my backpack and it hangs so I can quickly remove an arrow if needed.....
