Hanging your Wolf sticks off your Mantis for the climb.

So I got some S carbiners and ties to hang my sticks off my Mantis as I climb (I use three sticks).

Do you guys recommend hanging one stick off each hip (off the molle) or both on same side? This has always been my biggest issue. bringing the sticks up with me (I use a total of 3 for now).
