Cool, thanks for all the good information. I haven’t ever cut arrows or made a jig to cut arrows so the explanation helps a lot.
I like the polish on this build, but a work bench, couple clamps, dremel with an abrasive disc, measuring tape and a sharpie can do if you're only cutting down 6 arrows a year. For a bonus, mount the sucky end of a shop-vac hose near the blade and run it too, to reduce dust. I think the more important part is getting a clean cut end and squaring it off afterward - and a speed square and flat file can do that part, as my dad used to say, "good enough for who it's for."
