Has anyone sharpened the teeth on a stand-off?

I have some beast sticks and I also use one lone wolf stick with some ewo standoffs, it doesn’t bite nearly as well and I think it has to do with the beast sticks having chamfered stand-offs. Has anyone hit their standoffs with a grinder and does that help?

I beveled and slightly sharpened the standoffs on my full length hawk helium sticks using a flap wheel on my angle grinder. I think it made a huge difference in how well the sticks slide down to lock in and grip the tree. Beast stick standoffs were my inspiration as they bite the tree incredibly well.
