So I just bought 3 hawk helium climbing sticks that are 24” long each and took them out today for the first time. I really like them and have to practices with them more and my saddle, my question I have is has anyone figured out a way to carry them up and down the tree that is easier and and more stream lined? The way I did it this time was each stick had a small loop of Paracord on it and I clipped them to a D-ring until I needed them.

Thats how I do it too. Watching for replies from the more experienced.

I do about the same, but I use a kydex J hook instead of a D-ring. Gravity holds the paracord loop in the hook well enough that I won't have to bother with unclicking anything, just lift it out.
