Should work

Thanks guys. I haven't hunted with a saddle platform yet (new saddle hunter, just been using bolts for my feet) and this seems like a nice way to try it without breaking the bank.

Cost is gonna be close, but for 60$ it’s a solid platform

I just received mine in the mail. I decided to paint it before trying it, but I did purchase a cast predator bracket to replace the original. Post is 1 1/4 but the bolt hole on the predator is smaller so will have to drill it out. I believe the Hawk is 5/16.

Since this thread has a budget-oriented aspect to it, I figure it’s worth also mentioning the treehopper treesuit is a great option that’s inexpensive and doesn’t have the negatives associated with hawk.

I was thinking of getting the Hawk platform and replacing the standoff with one that doesn't have that weird convex shape, either from doublesteps or Lone Wolf. Does anybody know the tubing size, and for those who have used the platform, do you think the standoff needs to be replaced?
1.25".........I ordered one and ordered a replacement from Dan- O too

I think it’ll make a big difference let me know how it came over

And super easy to produce yourself if you can weld or know someone who can. Cost like $30 in materials.
