Hawk helium ROS question

While testing a new set of helium steps I discovered that they kick out easily and I can’t get them tight enough to keep some from pulling from the tree. Not sure if this is due to the tree I’m climbing or the gear itself. I even tried with a ratchet and still did the same thing. I added a second strap and that didn’t help either.
Anyone here experience using this product, am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for the help.

I have never played with the Hawk steps you have but I can tell in the pictures that your strap is not tight enough for ROS purposes.
You need to get them TIGHT!
