Hawk Helium Stick For 1 Stick Climbing?

I think I want to jump on the 1 stick bandwagon. I see lots of guys talk about the Hawk Helium Stick and cutting it down. Not sure how interested I am in cutting it down but I wanted to know if the stick is good for me. I am 180 lbs and have a size 12 shoe. I see where some have trouble on their sticks with a size 12 boot. I would like to go with the Hawk but want some advice.
 
I'm 6'2, weigh 230ish, wear a 13 in boots and had absolutely no troubles with my Heliums last season. Used the top stick as a platform for the first several hunts until my RR arrived with no issues as well.

Thanks, that's helpful. I definitely want this to work. I didn't like carrying all the steps in last year.

6', currently 220ish but have been as heavy as 250ish using my cut down Helium. I hunt in a size 13 boot. No problems for me.
