Hawk Helium super mini with platform

I'm curious what the goal is with these ultra-small sticks. Are you looking for weight savings, packability, or something else?
 
Looks good I did the same thing but had problems with it kicking out. Have you had that problem?

When I first tested it is seemed solid then I tried to climb an it would kick out. So I moved the top standoff to the top two bolts on the platform. This fixed the kick out and is now super solid. Doing this also gave the stick and platform a slight angle.

have you hunted from the supermini before? I've considered picking one up since I have heliums. I mostly 2TC and have a predator XL that I carry separately. I 1-sticked a couple times last year and can see the benefit of an integrated platform. If 1-sticking was my thing I'd definitely go with something like a Ti fighter or EWO ultimate. However, in the interest of keeping it cheap, throwing a supermini on top of my 30" stick would mean 1 think to carry.
 
Yes,I hunted with it last year. Started with it being a stock 20" stick cut it to 16" and now 7 3/4" the HSP platform for me has plenty of room for my size 13 feet.
