Hawk Helium Super Mini

Climbed with all 3 tonight. Only gets me about 10-11 feet up with my movable aider, so going to need to make a few more. Need some hawk helium standoffs though....

Use a longer multi step aider & hang stick as high as u can reach

Then those 3 steps will get u to 20ft

At least it looks good. When come down how do you keep your foot in the aider from moving out to the sides etc..

Sorry that sounds sarcastic. Absolutely not what I meant. It does look good. Like way easier to transport than 4 full sized lone wolfs

Tried multi step aiders and wasn't very comfortable with it. Would rather have one that cinches to my foot so I don't have to fish my foot through it, especially in the dark. Wish I liked them! Then those 3 would be plenty!

Can try the double aider set up like some are doing with WE Stepps

Use a knaider & also an adjustable aider

Both stay attached to feet

I'll have to tinker with that. I'm using a strap with a cam buckle on one end. Just feed the end through the cam buckle and that's the foot loop that cinches to your foot. Then just tie an overhand knot on a bight to put over the stick.

Look up the knaider, swaider , etc options and you will see how the 2 methods essentially act like a 3 step aider when used in conjunction with each other

Thank you. I'm 6ft but getting more broken with time. 3 regular sticks and an aider on 2 got me as high as my house. But it was a gnarly tree and I could spaced them further...
This many people using aided can't be wrong. I'm probably going to cut my sticks down.
I've got another set of full size I think I"m gong to cut down to 24". They just pack SOOOOO much better... I've got 5, so @24" that should easily get me 20' minimum...

Honestly dont see myself using sticks much this year though. I"m hooked on bolts...

Not the best picture, but shows my solution to stacking heliums tighter. Should work on these minis too.

Wondering if anyone has toyed around with this. Put the hardware on a piece of scrap helium I had from cutting them down. This stick is roughly 13". I'll cut it to 12" tomorrow (taking an inch off the top)

My goal is to have a stick that is small enough so I can easily zip up my pack with them inside. Put them on the tree and used with my aider and they seem plenty sturdy. I can get 40" with one stick, so I'd need 6 to get to 20'. To me that's the same as if I'd use a WE step with a knaider.

Does anybody see an issue with this? All criticism/ideas are welcome!
