Hawk Helium top stick platform

I bought this from a buddy that works in a machine shop. He made this platform that fits snug to top of hawk helium sticks and he also make angled attachment that goes on predator platform. He has a video on YouTube about it. Check out Dixieland Bowhunter, he just a good ole country boy that knows a lot about metals. You can also check him out on Facebook at Dixieland Bowhunter. Very strong and fits very snug and bolts right into same holes as top steps of hawk helium so no drilling more holes.
 
That looks nice! How does it bite to the tree if it is replacing the standoff? I took a grinding wheel to my Hawk platforfm to give it a touch more grip.
 
Grip tree good and stand on sides without kick out or moving around. That angled front is a game changer way for comfortable on my feet.
 
Top don’t grip tree just standoffs on hawk sticks which always grip real good.
 
Cool. I couldn't see the top standoffs so I was wondering. I haven't had any issues with the stock standoffs kicking out. I haven't had much to complain about for the cheap Hawk platform too other than it is a loos fit and doesn't give great grip.
