Hawk Seat and New Standoffs

Has anyone actually changed the standoffs from the Hawk seat? I see people talking about it or suggesting it but no evidence of it actually happening.

The tube looks to be closer to 1 3/8" rather than 1 1/4" that everyone seems to sell stand offs for.
So I thought of the lone wolf stick stand offs but they are pretty deep and with the ratchet straps I would think they would bend easily.

If you have please post pics.
