What do you use to attach to tree? Amstel rope or versastrap like tethrd?

I you 7/64 Amstel Daisy chain. I'm new to this but it seams to work well . Easy to hook up and solid

I’m using 1/4” amsteel and have been very happy with it so far. I bought a 50’ replacement winch cable from amazon for $20 to source my rope. I was having a hard time finding it in that size not in a 600’ spool.

I did a locked Brumel at both ends and tied a loop of 1/8” shock cord and it works well to secure the end to the Versa button nice and neat. I also tied on a loop of the shock cord that holds all three sticks together so they don’t rattle at all when bundled.

1/4” Amsteel for me also. Really easy to do locked Brumel and bury the tag end with Amsteel. The rope mod actually helps with reducing noise while stacking if you wrap the rope around the length of the stick.

Biggest issue I've seen with amsteel is it's so light, sometimes its hard to swing it around the tree on the larger trees. I'm experimenting with 7/64" amsteel daisy chain as well as the 1/4" amsteel rope mod. Both are working just fine thus far.

I've been looking at those winch ropes too. Are they hollow like amsteel?

7 mm accessory cord for me. I've tried amsteel and daisy chain and just didn't like either as much as the accessory cord. I'll take the weight penalty whatever it is, a few ounces at most?

Just got the tethrd mini versa straps for my hawk heliums, changed plastic buttons to 1in steel washers drilled kut tk fit bolts with 1/2 in steel spacers and I'm liking it pretty good.

I tried the VersaStraps and did not like them. I am currently using 1/4" Amsteel which I really like.

They are hollow like amsteel. I’m fairly certain it is amsteel because I doubt that the rope would have the strength tidiest with out it being dynema.
