Just got some new helium’s, planning on making some 7/64 amsteel daisy chains. Do I need to switch the hawk Versa button to a lone wolf style? I see several people do this and I’m not sure why.
 
Older heliums did not have a button. They had a sorta dogbone bracket that the OEM cam strap hooked too.
 
The new Hawk button works fine. I've got LW and newer Hawk sticks and my chains work equally well on both buttons
