Finally got the time to cut down my new model Heliums. Initial thoughts with the suction cups is that they stack higher than my old ones and wobble side to side a bit. Gonna have to figure a way to alleviate that but hopefully I can get them in the woods tomorrow to see how they do.

Read the post on the other helium failure and checked these they should be good to go.

I cut down the suction cup post and the versa button, also made a notch in the bottom of the versa button for stacking reason.. 4 hawk heliums stack as high as 3 muddy pros.

Really like what you did there I didn’t even think about doing that! I think I’m gonna do the same.

I did take them out today and put them on a tree and was happy to see that the suction cups will hold the sticks as I climb without a strap on them.

I love mine. Here’s how I stack and carry in. I use my tether as a shoulder strap. Works great.

Oohh nice stuff!

For the wobble and silencing I put furniture slider material on the inside of the stand offs.

What is your spacing between steps just wondering also seeing you have four steps do you use an aider and what height are you reaching
