You guys who have cut down the new (2019) stocks, did you move the versa buttons?

Still in the works but I will be moving the button on my 2019s since I cut my sticks from the top. The options to cut from the bottom were too long or too short for what I wanted (24") given the slots that need to be avoided.
 
I did not move mine but I did cut off the bottom, ended up with just over a 23" step (to avoid the slots @TNSTAAFL talks about)
