Hi everyone, I think this is the year I’m going to try saddle hunting. I hunt a lot of public land here in SoCal and some times I have to hike back a couple of miles to get away from the crowd and a stand is way to heavy for the walk. With all the information I have seen on here so far this looks like the only way to go. So if you don’t mind I will be asking a lot of questions on set ups to find the right one for me. Thanks in advance.

Welcome from the other side of the country! Lots of good people and info on here. Enjoy!

Welcome from Montana. You might wanna edit the title of your thread.

Welcome from North Central Florida. Yes, there is a difference. Just think of it as another tool and not the end all be all. But with that said, saddle is my primary rig. Lots of options and opinions, but that's the best part. Good luck my friend and happy hunting.
