Just joined this morning. I am 25 years old and happily married with a little 13 mo. old daughter. I hunt 100% public and switched to an all mobile set up last year. This summer I bought an Aero Hunter Evolution and have been having a blast figuring it out this season. I use 3 cheap climbing sticks to get up the tree and 3 cranford's on a rachet for a platform. This works pretty good ( better than the stand I used last year!) but I'm hoping someone comes out with a platform option designed for mobile saddle hunters. I'm also hoping to get some lone wolf sticks for next season. I've been lurking here for a little while and like what I see. Happy hunting!

Yes, Haywood, a mobile saddle hunting platform would be super cool. Good to see you on the site and out there saddle hunting! Cheers, Kirk

I'm from Mountain Grove so I'm about an hour and 15 min southwest of Rolla. I hunt south of town aways on some big blocks of government land.
On a side note I killed my second deer out of my Aero Hunter Evolution this morning. No pics but he's a small 9 pt that was following a doe and gave me about a 60 yd shot with my 260. He died in the bottom of a ravine 1/2 mile and 200' elevation drop from my truck. I've been doing the gutless method this year so I had to take a 60 lb pack up and out. Somehow when you get a buck down on pressured public land that pack doesn't seem so bad tho! Lol
I cannot begin to describe how much I like my evolution. It would feel really weird to be stuck in a hang on again!
