Hello All! I saw this site mentioned a few times on the hunting beast so I had to check it out. Glad I did too! You guys are a wealth of information! Since becoming a member I've purchased a set of Jim Stepps, an XOP bracket from ErniePowers (Thanks!), an XOP seat and batwings, ropeman1, stealth strip and a sitdrag. I've owned a TL saddle for 5-6 years but I probably only used it 6-8 times and never fully committed to that set up so I switched to a lone wolf assault instead. I love my assault but with my lw sticks and backpack I still feel the set up is pretty heavy for long hikes on public land so I'm looking forward to giving the modified sit drag a try.

Thanks for sharing all the great ideas! I'm getting drunk on the koolaid!

Welcome aboard Thill, from another Michigander. Where do you reside?
Thanks! I live just south of Grand Haven. The public ground around here gets a good amount of pressure so I travel both N and S to get away from crowds.

Welcome to the site! Sounds like you've already opened the checkbook lol!

Thanks! I rationalized the purchases by talking myself into selling the TL saddle, which I rarely use. As long as I'm comfortable with the sitdrag and keep the lone wolf, the saddle will go.
