Hi folks! Been bowhunting whitetail for the past 20 years. I’m looking forward to being ready do it all from a saddle by the next season here in western NY! I did my first public land hunting this past season, and it was a great experience. Where I grew up, hunting public land wasn’t a thing. Here there are literally thousands and thousands of acres of incredibly varied terrain from canyons, gorges and mountains to miles and miles of swamps. No better way to explore it all than with a saddle.

Welcome from central NY. I am in the same boat as you, have been hunting for a bit,but i will expand to public this year, and what better tool than a saddle to do it.

Welcome. Their are a bunch of guys from W. NY so you'll have to be a bit more descriptive. Finger Lakes region perhaps?

I used to go to school out in the Finger Lakes and did a lot of fisheries studies up on the lake Ontario bays.
