Hello new member from GA.

Welcome from MA. I'm a newbie this year. Got my ass in a sling about mid season up here, and took two bucks to close out my season. It is indeed a great way to hunt. The folks on this site are a wealth of information, and good sharers to boot.
All The Way Airborne!

Oaky Woods, Ocmulgee, Chickasawhatchee, and Flint River. Chickasawhatchee has a great population but it is a huge place. You can definitely wear out a pair of boots there. Flint River is my favorite WMA in the state to hunt but it isn’t very large mostly a long narrow strip of land. There are times when you can walk the wma and not even find fresh sign. Horse creek and Ocmulgee are good places but I have no personal knowledge of them. That’s just the ones within an hour and a half of me. If you wanted to head to the coastal area you will find endless options as long as the river isn’t too high.

Have hunted Oaky, and Ocmulgee put in 18 miles in two days and didn't get a shot spot and stock. LOL got close to some but they busted me before I could get the bow up on them. LOL Might look at going to the coastal area and give that a try. Thank you.
