Hello I am from ky. I am new to saddle hunting. I have a bad back and i am hoping I can find a comfortable solution instead of replacing all of my hang on stands. A lot of my stands makes it very difficult to set for long periods of time. Another reason I am thinking of trying saddle hunting is my step son is getting old enough to bow hunt from a tree stand so instead of hanging 2 sets I could hang 1 for him and I could use a saddle beside him.

Welcome from Northern Virginia. I have a messed up back as well and find saddle hunting works better for me than stands did. Get yourself a back band to go with the saddle, and make sure you get some sits in before season.

Yep I have had 4 back surgeries and need a 5th one and saddle hunting helps make longer sits easy!!
