It sounds like a ropeman is the ideal tool for linemans belts. How easy or hard is it to install one. I have a kestral lineman rope with a prusik knot. I feel like this is going to give me grief while trying spurs and it did while I was working on the WE aider approach. Are there installation videos for the ropeman, can I use my current li means rope or di I need to buy a new one? Am I thinking right by switching?

I chose the aero hunter eye to eye prusik over the ropeman one. It cost less and there's not metal to clank on anything. Both are an improvement over the stock method.

Been using rope man's (1 and 2) for a number of years...this year on my tether as well as linesman rope. But...after all the recent discussions about backups, fall distance, friction hitch backups that don't have enuff rope to work, I thought I'd try the aero prusik adjuster. Just tried it on my tether and it works just like the ropeman. Saw an older post stating that the prusik was not load rated, contacted Aero and Debbie came back with the prusik cord rated at 2760 lbs breaking strength. Still using the ropeman, hut really like the Aero adjuster!!

I also have been using the ropeman 1 for years and it works great. I have one on my linesman belt and one on my tether and my bridge on my Kestrel. I have a Areohunter Flex with the eye to eye prusik on the bridge and I like it very much so I will be ordering a couple of them.
