I'm just wondering why most members of this site don't indicate where they are from on their profile? I have my location posted so if anyone near me needs help that I think I may be able to offer, like try out my saddle if they are trying to determine what to buy or maybe want to try out a climbing method I'm using, etc. Why is everyone hiding??

Or they just don’t think to do it. Without checking right now, I am not sure if my location is posted or not. I wouldn’t have anything against it, just never occurred to me to do.

Some people are more readers than posters too; those folks don’t really have a reason to post their location since they aren’t jumping in on threads ever. I was a reader for a long long time, even before making an account. Didn’t really think I had enough experience to be giving others advice or weighing in on things. I’m only 23 too so I wasn’t trying to be the young guy that thinks he’s the expert and doesn’t know when to shut his mouth and listen to the guys that have been hunting longer than I been alive.

Working on posting more lately now that I’ve got some experience in a saddle. And thanks to you I’ll be making sure I have my location posted!

Well let me tell you what sonny boy. Us old timers don't have all the answers, at least I don't. I value all input regardless. I think the more everyone posts the better off we ALL are. You never know where your going to pick up a piece of information that contributes to your ah ha moment. A fresh look, one experience shared through a conversation that my or may not be directly related to the discussion, from anyone. As an individual, and as a fellow hunter, DO NOT under value yourself or your experiences, as a contributor to this forum or any where. It's ok to be a good listener, in fact it's a great skill, but also be willing to join in, and don't be afraid to be wrong. I've learned the most in my life by being wrong and being willing to listen, and take constructive criticism, and making it right. I don't care if your 23 or 83 I am an accumulation of knowledge of the WHOLE world. I try not to pick and choose to much. I'm not perfect, I just figure if I put down as many filters as I can I gain a broader spectrum of knowledge. Oh **** that's some deep dodo there.......... I stand by every word. Now go fetch me a brandy :)

Meh. I'm 26, and I hardly ever shut my mouth for a day on here. Us young folks gotta chime in and keep the old dogs on their toes!

Ain't that right, @DaveT1963, ya crazy nucanoe paddlin', stuegglestick bending, predator lovin' cuddlebear !? ;)

Yes sir, us "old dogs" have been around awhile. We tend to tolerate the few cocky young pups nipping at our heels because we understand they are mostly full of piss and vinegar and pose no real threat ;)

Well guys, I'm not afraid. The funny thing is, most people in the state of Arkansas don't know where Cato is. Sometimes I have to look at my profile to figure out where to go to get back home.

@ricky racer these guys are calling each other cuddle bears and pookie, 2guysbtrying to hunt one saddle. They are talking about Christmas gift exchanges, much of this stuff is clothing optional. Do you really want these guys knowing where you live?

Not gonna lie, thought has crossed my mind a few times to bring the saddle into the bedroom haha. Gotta keep things spicy.
