Hip Pack Recommendations

I’m looking at buying a hip pack for bow hunting. I would use this for half day/all day hunts. I currently use a Badlands Superday; however, it’s a little too much for a lot of the hunting I do. I don’t pack in a lot, typically my lineman’s rope, tether, platform, 3 Lone Wolf sticks, range finder, and need some space For clothes. I typically change out of the sweaty clothes I trekked to my tree in during the early season. Any recommendations? It needs to have a good way to strap my Tethrd Platform and Lone Wolf sticks on it.

Not sure exactly just how big of a hip pack you want, but the Cabelas Transporter Pack looks like it could “transport” everything you mentioned. The platform could be attached on the back of the harness using nite ize ties to the d-rings and secured with the Velcro loop. The sticks could rest on top of the pack under the compression straps. Seems like to me, full length lone wolf sticks would be a pain to pack in with a hip pack...stick out far on either side. But hey, do what works for you! I suppose you could wouldnt have to take the pack off before climbing.

No longer in production but I’ve used the Eberlestock tailhook for sticks and platform and it works well.

I just posted a pic of the SOG pack loaded like your talking. Can't beat the price.
My last sog lasted 4 seasons. Still in great condition. Just had it in the rain to many
times. Smells like a old boat rope now but held up to a lot of abuse. Hip belt is also
removable if you need or want to.
