Hitch cord for 8mm oplux

Are the Sterling Hollow Blocks (6mm) safe for using on tether? Thought just for auto-bkock (hand break)?
The Sterling HollowBlocks are not meant to be your sole primary life support - per the instructions. For that reason, I don't use it for my tether. It is best used as an autoblock as that is what it was designed for (a backup for rappelling).

The 35cm Beal Jammy does work and is plenty strong for our uses. I just found that it bound up too tight on Oplux and was harder to release after being weighted on my tether. I switched to a distel using Sterling 6mm TRC and that was a night and day difference. The schwabisch is very close to the same thing and I've heard works great too - its just harder to pronounce and spell so I always recommend the distel. For an autoblock the Jammy does great.
How long of a section of Sterling 6mm TRC should I order to use a distel on an oplux tether? Thanks!

Reviving this so I don’t start a new thread for one question, what’s the gold standard for an auto block on oplux?

Well I'm no export still learning, but seems a lot of people use Sterling HollowBlock 6.8mm sewn loop.
I have two of these but in my limited testing instead of a French prussic I use it in Klemheist mode.
Or also a Beal Jammy.
