I had posted in another thread about struggling to find a hitch cord that worked well for my backup Rappelling with Canyon Elite and wanted to share what I found for anyone else Looking for the right cord. I wanted to be able to stop and start so the hitch needs to grab and hold and break loose easily so I can remove sticks on the way down. I've found a cord that works great for me at 220 Lbs. Your mileage may vary for different weights. It's the 7mm Bluewater VT Prusik tied with 4 wraps and 3 braids in a VT hitch. Works like a dream, problem solved.

The SH Membership has gone live. Only SH Members have access to post in the classifieds. All members can view the classifieds.
